Views over The Blackmore Vale from Shaftesbury to Wincanton.
We thought this place deserved a cache for the view alone, you get a 180 degree view of The Blackmore Vale from Shaftesbury to Wincanton, and on a nice evening the sunset is spectacular. This cache is suitable for everyone, on foot, pushbike, wheelchair, pushchair….. and it’s half way along a lane from Gillingham to Wincanton. From this point you can look down on the local houses.
The cache is a small Lock & Lock box, with a log book but no pen, so bring your own please. There are lots of little goodies in there, nail polish, minty foot cream, badges, bits and bobs.
Roadside parking is close to the cache at N51 02.752
