Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Cliff Cave Park on the Mississippi River Trail. The terrain is fairly flat with a small downhill grade on an asphalt bike trail. The wooded area is easy walking with very little undergrowth. Since this area is prone to flooding, mosquitoes may be a problem in the summer.

We made this unique cache container from stuff that had been saved over the years. The container is not waterproof, therefore, if you wish to leave any trade items, they should be in a waterproof baggie. This container may not be suitable for Travel Bugs or Geocoins unless they have a waterproof cover. The container should be very easy to locate, but the reason for the 2.5 difficulty level is the log will not be so easy to find. The container has many compartments where the log could be hidden. There are also a number of decoys for you to search. If you find a decoy, please return it where you found it. This will ensure that every cacher after you has the same experience as you did.

The rules of geocaching state that you must find the container and sign the log to take credit for the find. With this cache, the log is what you will be searching for.

The log is in a waterproof container so you won't have any problem signing it. You may want to bring a pen or pencil.

As stated before, this is a unique container and we have not seen anything like it in the short time we've been involved in this sport. So please tell us how much you liked or disliked it. We also want to mention that no local unions had anything to do with the making of this container. When you see it, you will understand. Enjoy!
