This cache is a small camouflaged tube container about the diameter
of a 35 mm film container and about 4 inches long. NOTE: As with
all desert locations, please be cautions of scorpions, snakes, and
other local wildlife.
Your driving along the open prairie desert then all of a sudden you
come around the bend and see a pile of boulders bigger than your
car. Some are the size of a small cabin. A few miles later and your
back in the open prairie desert again. My father and I were talking
about this area years ago before he passed away and both of us had
the same idea about the area. When God finished building the earth,
he had a bunch of boulders left over that he no longer needed, so
he just left them in a pile here. I've always thought this was a
neat area, and sharing my impression of the area with my father is
a good memory of a interesting conversation that we'd shared
together. This is a log only container and you'll need to bring
your own writing implement.
