Let's clean up
Santa Cruz's Seabright Beach. This popular State beach sees a
lot of action so let's lend a hand cleaning it up a bit.
State Parks has agreed to supply me with 20 medium size bags for
the clean up (that I will pick up at the Mott entrance earlier at
8:45 am) and to pick up what we collect if we leave the bags at the
Mott entrance.
Let's start at 9 am at the jetty behind Aldo's and work our way
to the San Lorenzo River. We should be there before the beach gets
any crowds and should be done about 10 am.
The posted coordinates are for a US Army Corps of Engineers
benchmark.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
For those that are interested, there is an un-event planned for
Santa Cruz Harbor's Harborfest (http://thegba.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=49838#49838).
And a pizza get-together planned for later in the day as
well.(http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=9742b570-2c04-406f-91c7-b0f18a98beaf)
