Geocache Description:

A double pill-pot cache set within view of Eylesbarrow mine ruins. Park at Nattor and follow the track.

Eylesbarrow Mine, which operated between 1814 and 1852 has been described as ‘arguably Dartmoor’s most important mine’. Spread over a large area are a variety of structures and features including stamping mills, a smelting house, wheelpits, leats, tramways, shafts and adits.
