Geocache Description:

This is the Wiltshire leg of Little Quest. For more information about this country-wide network of caches, please click on the "Little Quest" banner above. Inside the cover of the logbook are the co-ordinates you will need to note down to allow you to complete the whole of "The Little Quest".

This cache was placed for the National hunt "Little Quest" at the time of the Science Museum event on 26th August 2007 with the kind permission of the Science Museum Wroughton on their land.

There are excellent views of North Wiltshire and beyond from this location. There is also lots of local wildlife around here including Hares, Rabbits, Kestrels and even Bats if you are here at the right time of day.

The access is through Clout's Wood, up the hill from Wroughton village or across the fields from near the science Museum entrance. If you find yourself the wrong side of a fence near the cache then follow the fence downhill for the gate which is a short distance, please don't climb the fence.

This cache is NOT easy to get to. Whichever way you go, you’ll go down through a valley and back up the other side, both ways are fairly steep. If you want another opinion on the hills and a good laugh then read the log on 27th May 2019 by The Orange Ones.
