A cache está localizada num dos mais belos locais da Serra
Amarela. Aqui tudo respira tempos idos, disso são exemplo os belos
abrigos dos pastores, onde estes pernoitavam quando necessário, ou
então as cercas onde os animais eram recolhidos. Qualquer
semelhança com um castro é pura realidade!!!
A população de Cidadelhe (Lindoso) e de Paradamonte
(Britelo) gerem estes redutos, culminando numa festa que se realiza
há cerca de 10 anos em honra de Santo António (não fosse ele
protector de tantos animais que imperam na serra).
A partir de Lindoso o percurso é em terra batida. Mais
aconselhável a TT, no entanto um carro ligeiro também faz a viagem
sem muito custo (o pior será mesmo o pó ou a lama), contudo o
trânsito no parque é condicionado. Para cá chegar devem virar em
direcção ao Muro (em Lindoso). Passados 6,5 km devem virar à
direita (N 41º 49.965; W 008º 12.405) e conduzir durante cerca de 2
km.
O percurso poderá ser feito, também, a partir da Branda
de Bilhares (Ermida), deixando o carro das imediações de N41º
49.425; W008º 14.023.
The cache is located in one of the most beautiful spots
of the Yellow Mountain. Here everything breaths old times, examples
of that are the beautiful shepherd’ shelters, where they
stayed overnight whenever it was necessary, or the fences where the
animals were collected. Any similarity with an old castle it is
pure reality!!!
The inhabitants of Cidadelhe (Lindoso) and of Paradamonte
(Britelo) are the ones’ who manage these redoubts.
From Lindoso on the course is a rutty road. More advisable
to a four-wheel cross county, nevertheless other vehicles can also
do the journey with not too much effort (the worst part it will be
the dust or the mud). Don´t forget that within the park limits the
traffic is conditioned. To get to the place you should turn into
the direction of Muro (in Lindoso). After 6,5 km you should take a
right turn (N 41º 49.965; W 008º 12.405) and drive for about 2
km.
The course can also be done beginning at the Branda of
Bilhares (Ermida), leaving the car around N41º 49.425; W008º
14.023.
