the pantheon (from greek meaning "temple of all (pan) the gods (theos)") is a building in rome which was originally built as a temple to "all the gods" of ancient rome. it is almost 1900 years old. since the 7th century, the pantheon has been used as a christian church called santa maria ad martyres. the cupola (diameter 43.3 meters) of this building is absolutely amazing.
parts of the movie called “illuminati” (with tom hanks) were shot in front and around the pantheon.
the cache is not too far from the pantheon. we installed this cache as we think a world city like rome deserves more caches (that was in the year 2007).
this cache requires you to act in absolute stealth mode! there are always muggles there. it's best to do this cache late at night or early in the morning. please really pay attention no one is watching you while you take the cache and put it back.
have fun! if you think the coordinates are not 100% accurate, please publish yours here in the log. you probably won't get a good signal in the alleys. so try the hint.
