Geocache Description:

Hagerman Pass overlooking Ivanhoe Lake.

This cache contains a little bit of everything for everyone. It also contains a hitchhiker. He is a little sailor man with a note attached. We were in Colorado visiting from Texas on summer vacation and would like to see if the little guy makes it back home. The cache is located on the west side of the pass at a beautiful location overlooking the lake. It is only a short distance off of the road because there were thunderstorms rolling in as we got there. DON'T GPS and DRIVE! We will try to include pictures of the location at a later time. LOVE YOUR BEAUTIFUL STATE!
Sam, Frances and Teddy Morrow.

Please include the standard cache letter if you have one. We didn't have one with us.

If you would like to make a weekend out of it, there are some really great campsites at Chapman Dam Campground. We especially like #11. This would be about halfway between our cache and Rocky Fork cach.
