About the island: Margit-sziget (Margaret Island) was born as a silt of the Danube slowing down after getting out of the mountains. It originally consisted of 3 islands before the 1870 river regulation. In the Middle Ages the island was covered by floodplain forest making it a favourite hunting spot. The forest was home to many rabbits, that's why medieval deeds called it 'Insula Leporum' or 'Island of Rabbits'. Nowadays the island is more of a city park than a wild jungle so apart from the zoo, you can hardly find any rabbits there. :)
About the zoo: the little zoo is a favourite place for kids and families. You can see there domestic animals as well as common wild species like storks, ducks, peacocks, deers...etc. Entry to the zoo is free in the opening hours (in the summertime from 10am to 6pm).
About the cache: You look for a film canister. BYOP.
