Geocache Description:

A cache in the Hungarian Zemplen Mountains, in the wall of a beautiful castle, 627 m elevation

The Castle of Regec can be found in the middle of the Hungarian Zemplen Mountains. By car you can get here on the route number 3 from Encs or route number 37 from Tolcsva. Between Mogyoroska and Regec there is the volcanic hill with a castle on the top oriented to North-South. The date of birth of this castle is unknown, though it was already here by the Tatar invasion in 1285. Today the wall of the castle keeps a little container. It is rather tiny so bring only small gifts!
