I thought it would be fun to see how many new cache sites I could find near to Mills in my local area. These will include Watermills and Windmills, some still in use, some now used for other purposes. Most mills are sited in nice surroundings, so I hope you will enjoy visiting them. I will be adding new caches to this series over the next few months.
All the micros are hidden right on public footpaths. None of them will be very close to private houses. Some of them are near public highways, but many are along private roadways, with only footpath access. Please park considerately, and do not drive along any private roads to access the caches.
Nutley Windmill is situated on Ashdown Forest. The nearest forest car park is the one by Friends Clump. It is a very pleasant 10 minute walk from here.
I could not put the micro any nearer to the windmill as one of my Ashdown Amble series of caches is hidden nearby.
