Geocache Description:

Micro cache South of the Thames in the Shad Thames / Butlers Wharf area.

This area is known as St Saviour's, have a look at the interesting structure here.

Wheel chair and buggy accessible.

If you have small children with you, please keep an eye on them around here.

Great views, including a nice photo op combining The Gherkin and Tower Bridge that visitors don't often get (best at night when the bridge is lit up).

If you are not familiar with this area, have a little look around. Some interesting bars and restaurants. The Design Museum is here also.

The cache itself is 24x7, but you can only approach from the East side between about 06:00 - 23:00 (not a real problem as the majority of vistors are likely to be coming from the Western side).

As with all urban caches, you need to be sensitive to passers by, local residents, security cameras, security guards, and in this case - boat crew. If, however, you are approached by a Police Officer or Security Guard, avoid acting suspiciously and explain what you are up to.

Please be careful when retrieving and replacing the cache it is an APS container rather than a 35mm canister so the lid is a little less secure.

Stealth kit on so the cache will be there for those who follow you, and not found by those who shouldn't.

30' accuracy reported at cache site due to buildings close by.
