Centre of the Circle Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

SARlad: I went for a walk this morning with the intention of replacing the missing tag, but after finding that the cache itself was also missing and that there was a new trail running very near to the cache location, I decided that I would archive this cache and free up some space for new caches.

Thanks to everybody who visited the cache, I hope you had fun.

Geocache Description:

This is a multipoint cache which will require the thrill of the hunt but also some thought.

At the posted coordinates you will find a red dymo tag on a tree. Proceed to the coordinates on the tag, where you will find another tag. You could make your way to the coordinates given on this second tag, although this is not necessary and would actually be a waste of time. Instead, follow the instructions here.

Using the posted coordinates and the coordinates that you find on the two red tags, find the center of the circle that passes through all three points. At the centre of the circle you will find a large peanut butter jar covered with camouflage duck tape.

All of the waypoints, and the final cache are located fairly close to established and well used trails in the area, so you will need to be careful not to be seen by muggles. There are a lot of deer in the area and during one hike I came across 5 young deer near the second waypoint, and they continued to graze for about 5 minutes while I stood and watched. Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera at the time.
