Geocache Description:

A stealthy cache in scenic Migartjern, near the western edge of Krokskogen, 563 meters above sea level.

Once upon a time, a visiting city lady remarked to her Ringerike host, “The water you have here is so good”. “Yes”, the man replied, “but the best water we have in Migaren”.

Migaren is a creek that, at times of much water, spurts powerfully from the steep Krokskogen wall. It is fuelled by Migartjern, a pond of outstanding beauty between Gyrihaugen and Mørkganga. The cache is reachable by using a series of stepping stones, some of which may be under water and often slippery. The terrain difficulty rating applies to the last ten meters of your hike.

The cache is a green Mostly Moose egg. It is secured with steel wire. Initial content includes pencil and logsheet, a wasp-colored paper clip, a ladybug, some feathers and a ring.

For access and parking information, refer to the nearby Darkness Rising cache.
