Groenplaats

AntwerPoly is een reeks caches in Antwerpen, gebaseerd op het Monopoly-spel. In elke cache vindt u een oplossing waarmee u uw volgende zet kan doen op het AntwerPoly-spelbord wat u hier kan downloaden.
De caches zijn steeds kleine, gemagnetiseerde plaatjes, bevestigd aan straatmeubilair.

Vroeger lag op deze plaats het kerkhof voor arme mensen, horende bij de Onze Lieve Vrouwenkathedraal.
Vandaag de dag is het een prominent plein in het centrum van Antwerpen met vele cafés, terrasjes en straatmuzikanten. Vooral tijdens mooie dagen is het plein erg druk. De terrassen zijn dan afgeladen met toeristen die natuurlijk de heerlijke Belgische bieren drinken.

The "Groenplaats" used to be the cemetery for the poor, belonging to the Cathedral of Our Lady.
Today it's one of Antwerps most crowded square's, with lot's of pubs and streetmusicians.
Especially when the weather is fine, terraces are crowded with people enjoying their Belgian beer.
