At the entrance of the Luz valley, stand the ruins of the processing building for the Mines of Chèze. The mines themselves are above in the mountains. In one of them is hidden a cache (don't forget a light although the gallery is only 20 meters long, it's dark in there!). In the mine, there also a spring that seems to pour out iron loaded water.
If starting from the village of Chèze (coordonates of the parking below), the mine is 400 meters higher : allow more between two and three hours to go there and come back.
A l'entrée de la vallée de Luz, la route passe près des ruines d'une ancienne usine de traitement pour les mines de Chèze. Les mines elles-mêmes sont plus haut dans la montagne. Dans l'une d'entre elles se trouve la cache (n'oubliez pas une lampe de poche, même si la galerie ne fait qu'une vingtaine de mètre, il y fait sombre). Dans la mine, il semble y avoir une source d'eau ferrugineuse.
En partant du village (coordonnées ci-dessous), il faut compter entre 2 et 3 heures pour la promenade qui compte plus de 400m de dénivellée.
