Geocache Description:

Very beautiful, windy area in West Maui. Very rocky with breathtaking views. Hike down about 200 feet to see one of natures beautiful creations. This cache is located near steep cliffs. This being said, the cache is located in an area that is far enough away from cliffs to be safe. Please use your good judgement if your GPS takes you too close to the edge of a dangerous area....the cache isn't there. Wear good shoes! The rocks are slippery and flip flops can be dangerous.

Eddie escaped from Alcatraz (Roseville California) and traveled with his adopted family to Maui. He asked to stay and felt his chances of escaping beyond the Sacramento area were better if he stayed here. So we created a 6"x6"X 3" tupperware hideout for him. He has the most amazing view in the world. Park at the round rocks pull out. Cache is in a safe area, but please be careful the wind is strong and the cliffs are high. Eddie felt most at home covered in rocks. Cache contains, (beside our traveling Eddie) California keychain, Maui keychain, sunblock chap stick, splash ball, and a few other items purchased on Maui. Please only take Eddie if you will place him at a new cache.
