Geocache Description:

The starter cache for 'A Herculean Challenge' [GC14N27]
Contains further information required for the task ahead.

A large ammo box that contains some nice goodies, especially for the 1st and 2nd to find.
Please do not dump old tat in this cache, quality only please!
A steepish climb rewarding you with a fine view of Priory Park.

The Park has just had a £7m overhaul which has resulted in a fantastic ammenity for the town. [ Thanks to the National Lottery]
An state of the art pavilion and a kids play area with real sand and water play feature has had families traveling down from London to entertain themselves !
You will need to look at a map to plan your approach to the cache as many options are available. Free parking is available at most locations, but the Morrisons car park in Reigate has a 2hour time restriction.

The steep hill down towards the North is known locally as 'brake neck hill' A very popular sledging hill in the winter,improved considerably [and unknowingly] by the council whilst carrying out tree clearance work.
Nearby is Andy 33's 'Priory cache'

From the top, locate the bench and from here head for the oak tree. Bear left through the young saplings for 70 ft to the 8ft high scorched tree trunk. Tread over the horizontal logs and passed the rowan tree on your right [20ft] then head for the second rowan where you will find the cache low down by the burnt logs.
