WARNING! DO NOT BUSHWHACK TO THIS CACHE! YOU WILL BE HIKING IN A CANYON AREA WITH CLIFFS HUNDREDS OF FEET IN HEIGHT. STAY ON THE TRAILS. Visiting this cache will take you along trails to the edge of a canyon. It is a great place to view the 400’ Walton Glen Falls & Flume located on the opposite wall of the canyon. Use caution while looking for the cache.
The cache/canyon is located east of Arnold Lake, NB. This is one way to get there. Please note: These directions reflect the changes caused by the creation of the Fundy Trail. Make your way to the Fundy Trail Parkway. Once on the parkway head to parking area P15. Park and follow signs to Walton Glen Gorge. It’s a 1.1 km walk. Cache is an ammo box wrapped with camo duck tape. Photos of the canyon & area that we’ve taken (pre-observation deck) can be seen by visiting the gallery. Please add some of your own. People climb up the frozen waterfall in the winter. We’ve hiked the area around, above and down into the canyon. This is only the first of a few caches we’ve placed in the area.
