Geocache Description:

No this is not a virus or a Utah MegaCache. This cache is located in a beautiful canyon that is often overlooked on the way to Bryce Canyon National Park. Take the whole family. They will enjoy this one.

Red canyon is a very scenic canyon generally passed up on the way to Bryce. This cache show cases some of the out standing formations in the canyon. Be sure and notice the Geocachers who were turned to stone many years ago. There are other equally rewarding hikes in the canyon. Try some you will be well rewarded. If you visit this cache take your bike the forest service has paved a great 5.5 mile bike trail from the top of the canyon to the bottom. It's a great ride that is easy or hard depending on which way you are riding.

To begin your quest for this cache, park at the Red Canyon Visitors center. Begin you hike on the pink ledges trail. About half way through the hike you will come to a wash at 37 Degrees 44.9055 North and 112 Degrees 19.1043 West. Hike a short distance up the bottom of the wash to the cache.

Please use the hint if you do not find the cache easily to prevent erosion in the area.

Enjoy
