A short wallk along the footpath - can be accessed from either direction: from the village, or from the footpath leading from the sea wall.
Welcome to Tollesbury!
This the third cache in this beautiful village and is located, like the other two, on a public footpath. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LEAVE THE FOOTPATH TO REACH THIS CACHE! Please do not attempt to drive to this cache, as it is accessed down a private road, one side of which is a public footpath. If you park in the village at the end of Mell Road, just before the turn off to Monk's walk, it is a 10min walk to the cache along a lovely leafy green tunnel. The footpath continues through a 'kissing gate' to the left of the gate (which should be shut) which blocks the road at the end of the leafy tunnel. (many thanks to Aerodyme for his comments via my father aka "the amused farmer", who he encountered en route)
The footpath links the village to the sea wall, those man enough can park at the marina and amble round the sea wall in a loop, finishing up by walking through the village back to the marina. Footpaths are clearly signposted.
