Parc Monceau is in the 17e Arrondisement, bordering the 8e. It is a
small, elegant park in an upscale neighborhood. It is very popular
with families with children - all the nannies seem to be there with
their charges in the afternoon as well. Unlike most parks in Paris
running/walking/playing/sleeping on the grass seems to be allowed,
so everyone is doing so.
This cache is placed underneath something in plain view
(depending on your vantage point). In the spirit of the general
rules for parks in Paris there is no need to leave the path, pick
up anything, dig up anything or otherwise disturb/change anything
in order to retrieve this cache.
If you're here on vacation set aside an hour or so to enjoy the
slow pace of this beautiful, happy park.
This WAS a micro-cache in a 35mm film container...
As it has apparently been removed I am changing this to be a
virtual cache for the time being.
For the virtual cache... Many French parks have small
"monuments" called "follies" - these can be things to climb on,
things to look at, things to sit on... What is the "folly" closest
to the cache location?
I am encoding an explicit clue in the "spoiler" info.
Bon chance!
