Kiersolvd: This morning, I hiked on in on a beautiful, crisp, fall morning. The cache is indeed missing. Six and a half years is a good run. Now it's time to give the old tree a rest.
I really like this meadow. I've wandered through it in all seasons and was lucky to catch it one time in full bloom. Ranger Kevin once told me he enjoyed watching families sit on the bench all excited by finding my cache. I've enjoyed reading all the logs, knowing that others have enjoyed this spot as well. Thank you to all who took the time to find it and to write about your experiences. I'll miss it.
