Geocache Description:

A very rewarding 2 mile walk along established forestry paths giving some great views across Loch Insh and Kincraig. 1 or 2 slightly steeper parts but generally great for all ages and ideal for a stroll or bike ride.

Park at N57*05.796 W003*55.472, a good sized Forestry Commission car park for Uath Lochans in Inshriach Forest. Coming into the car park you'll see an information board telling you all about the walks in the area. Don't be put off by the 3 hours though, on an good relaxing pace you'll be back at the car in half that time. Head along the path, turning right at the first blue post marked number 1. Carry on this way and you will see a path going left after about a quarter of a mile. You will be very tempted to take it but be aware it is as far up as it is along to the cache from here and a difficult climb, certainly more than a 2.5 terrain. Much nicer to stick to the bigger path. Continue for about another half mile and you will come to a fork in the path, left going up and right going down. The fork is at N57*06.145 W003*55.868. Its time to climb now so go left following the path in an anti-clockwise direction returning to the cache location. The path will take you there so stick to established route which are good Forestry Commission paths all the way but maybe boots required if its been wet at all.

The cache site is quite close to the path but this area is very quiet and you will be unlucky to come across anybody else. However, please be discreet just in case someone does come upon you. There is a Cairn and a bench very close by so add a rock and sit for a while to soak in the view. Continue along the path to return to the car possible finding Highland Nick's cache GCG2C6 on the way.

This is our first cache so comments would be wlecome. Enjoy!
