Souradnice vas zavedou do blizkosti
medvedího príkopu mezi I. a II. nádvorím zámku v Ceském
Krumlove.
Hradní príkop vznikl jako
soucást puvodního gotického opevnení a mel zejména obrannou
funkci. Chránil hradbu a vežní bránu, která umožnovala vstup
na II. nádvorí zámku, a byl opatren dreveným padacím mostem.
Za vlády Viléma z Rožmberka v 16. století hradba a vežní brána
zanikly a na jejich míste byla vystavena správní budova -
Buchhalterie (Nové purkrabství). V té dobe zrejme vznikl
renesancní val na druhé strane príkopu, který byl v pozdním
baroku upraven. Puvodní drevený padací most nahradil roku 1760
most kamenný se sochami Panny Marie a sv. Josefa. Tím vznikla
dnešní podoba Medvedího príkopu.
Historie chovu medvedu na zámku v Ceském Krumlove sahá až do 16.
století, do doby panování posledních Rožmberku. V Medvedím príkopu
se medvedi chovají od roku 1707.
V roce 1995 vznikla Studie rekonstrukce medvedária na zámku v
Ceském Krumlove, na jejímž základe se v letech 1995-1999 realizoval
projekt rekonstrukce Medvedího príkopu zamerený na kultivaci obou
medvedích výbehu. V roce 1999 se po dokoncení rekonstrukce do
medvedária nastehovaly dva medvedí páry: staronoví obyvatelé
Katerina s Vokem a jejich syn Hubert s mladou medvedicí Marií
Terezií, kterou daroval ceskokrumlovskému zámku Innsbrucký
Lesopark. V lednu 2000 se medvedici Katerine narodila medvídata
Daxi a Hubert.
Cache je urcena pouze
pro vymenu predmetu, ktere maji podobu medveda ci je na nich
medved vyobrazen.
(cache v case ulozeni obsahovala nekolik medvedu plysovych,
mince s vyobrazenim medveda a samolepky s obrazkem medveda)
Pro zjisteni souradnic cache budete potrebovat zjistit
nasledujici cislice, ke kterym vede klic na kamennem moste pres
medvedi prikop (Nic sloziteho, cache jsme puvodne chteli
umistit primo u medvediho prikopu,ale nenasli jsme vhodne misto,
takze ukoly jsou velmi jednoduche):
cislo A je rovno poctu zlatych hvezdicek stavozare na
sose Panny Marie na kamennem mostu pres medvedi prikop zmensene o
cislo dne v datumu narozeni medveda Voka.
Hint:Hvezdicky si prosím vícekrát prepocítejte - viz
logy predchozích nálezcu.

Pri hledani finalovky, prosime, uzijte
hintu. Chyba GPS byva na tomto miste pomerne vysoka. Pro nalezeni
neni treba nic odklapet, rozebirat, otvirat, staci jen sahnout... V
prazdninovych mesicich (cervenec a srpen), planujte prosime, odlov
finalovky az po 17hodine odpoledni.

The coordinates will lead you close to
Bear Moat at Cesky Krumlov Castle. The castle moat between the
Ist and IInd courtyards began as part of the original Gothic
fortification and served mainly a protective
function.
It protected the castle
wall and the tower gate which enabled access to the IInd
castle courtyard, and had a wooden drawbridge. Under the reign
of Wilhelm von Rosenberg in the 16th century, the wall and the
tower gate were pulled down and an administrative building -
the Buchhalterie (New Burgrave´s House) was constructed in
their place. A Renaissance wall probably arose on the other
side of the moat at the same time, which was reconstructed in
the late Baroque period. In 1760 the original wooden
drawbridge gave way to a stone bridge with the statues of the
Virgin Mary and St. Joseph, giving us the present shape of the
bear moat.
The history of bear-keeping at Ceský Krumlov Castle goes back to
the 16th century, the era of the last Rosenbergs. Bears have been
kept in the bear moat since 1707.
In year 1995 renewal study for the Ursinarium in Ceský Krumlov
Castle has been drawn up, based on which reconstruction of the bear
ditch in term 1995-1999 was realized. This reconstruction was
supposed to cultivate both bear moats. In 1999 after bear moat
reconstruction was finished moved to the Ursinarium two bear
couples: old occupiers Katerina with Vok and their son Hubert with
young female bear Marie Terezie, which has been donated to Krumlov
chateau by Innsbruk parkland. In January 2000 two cubs (Daxi and
Hubert) were born to Katerina.
The aim of this cache is to exchange things which are figured
as bear and/or have bear’s picture displayed.

bear in time of placing of the cache)
You'll need to know following numbers to get the final
coordinates of the cache. The clue for these numbers is on the
stone bridge over the bears moat.:
Number A is equal to number of golden stars in aureole of
a statue of the Virgin Mary reduced by value of day-of-month in the
date of birth of the bear Vok. Hint: Count the golden
stars twice before you continue!! See the cache logs :)
Number B is composed of 2 last numbers of the year of
birth of the bear Katerina
Number C is composed of 2 last numbers of the year of
birth of the bear Marie-Terezie
Number D is equal to sum of the first number of the
day-of-month of birth and last number of the month of birth of the
bear Marie-Terezie. [This number is also equal to number of paws of
the bear Marie-Terezie.]

Use the hint when looking for the cache, the
signal at the place is not very accurate. It is not necessary to do
any reconstruction of the place, opening or closing anything - just
take the cache and log your visit and place the cache back - so
