Dylan Thomas - Black Lion Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Red Kite: I am not in a position to maintain this cache and no one interested in adopting it has come forward, therefore sadly I have to archive it and probably the rest of the Dylan Thomas series. This will leave a huge hole in the caching map for the area but there is no other option RIP Emma Twm :(

Geocache Description:

This is a trail of 7 caches following in the footsteps of Dylan Thomas and the theme of Under Milk Wood.
Dylan completed seven major poems as well as ‘Quite Early One Morning’ and a number of film scripts while living at Majoda.
Also while here he started to write ‘Under Milk Wood’ where he drew upon New Quay for the names of many of the characters and places according to the topography.

The Black Lion Hotel was one of Dylan's favourite drinking places and was run by his good friend Jack Patrick.
Inside there was good display of photographs dedicated to Dylan, but at present (2012) the pub is closed for refurbishment. This is now a nano cache so you will need to bring your own pencil. Please replace it carefully, exactly as you found it. It is the only cache on this trail that has been placed in a highly muggleable area so care needs to be taken when retrieving the cache. YOU MUST SIGN THE LOG TO CLAIM THIS CACHE. PHOTOS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE, IF YOUR NAME IS NOT IN THE LOG YOU DID NOT FIND IT

If you would like to walk around the true Dylan Thomas Trail while you are here or want to find the best place to park regarding your ability - Llareggub map PLEASE NOTE!! IT CLEARLY STATES THAT THIS CACHE IS A MICRO. IF YOU SIGN THE LOG BOOK IN A BOX OR OTHER CONTAINTER THE FIND DOES NOT COUNT. THIS HAS BEEN PLACED BY A PERSON WHO DID NOT FIND THE ORIGINAL CACHE. FEEL FREE TO MAKE SWAPS BUT ANY FURTHER LOGS CLAIMING THIS CONTAINER AS A FIND WILL BE DELETED!!
