July Campout July 21 which is a Saturday. We are going up Friday
nite and staying until Sunday. The cords are for the park as we
have to find a camp spot.
This was a general jam session earlier this year and it was tossed
around to go here and camp again. So we are posting the event and
if anyone has something they want to add to this description feel
free to do so. We just wanted it posted in time for people to make
plans in advance. This is going to be campout in Icth-kep-pi park
in Columbus. It can be a day or overnight camp out. If someone is
up in the area before the 16th and wants to place a cache please
feel free to do so. Roger and I are just posting this and are not
the "hosts." so to speak? We hear there are some new caches in
Columbus so if you haven't found them yet you might want to save
them for this week-end and do two birds with one stone. Bring your
own food and utensils etc. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and
we can have a camp fire. Roger and I were talking and decided to
bring a turkey and barbecue on Saturday night. It is about a 14
pound one so we will share and people who want to participate can
bring a side dish. Bring a fishing pole is so inclined. And also if
so inclined bring your personal travel bugs for another jam
session. One of the other things tossed around was if you are a
home brewer of whatever bring information etc.
ITEMS TO BRING:
1. Chairs (one for each person) 2. Bug spray 3. utensils, plates ,
silver ware etc 4. firewood 5. GPS (for sure) 6. Cache print out
sheet you no longer need ( we will use them at the fair) 7. Side
dish for Saturday 8. Liquid refreshments
