Einfacher Klettersteigcache auf die Hohe Wand, Höhenunterschied 300 m, Kategorie A/B; auch für trittsichere Anfänger und ggf. gesicherte Kinder geeignet.
Cache along a climbing route with ladders and fixed ropes up to the Hohe Wand, difference in height 300 m, category A/B, suitable even for beginners.
Der Hanselsteig ist ein häufig begangener Anstieg und wartet mit zwei Highlights auf: dem Karnitschstüberl und dem Hanselkamin mit seiner schrägen Leiter (link).
Einen PARKPLATZ findet man bei:
N = 47° 50. 218
E = 016° 04. 524
Folge von dort dem schmalen, rot markierten Pfad aufwärts bis zu den Felswänden und dann weiter über eine kurze Rampe bis zum
KARNITSCHSTÜBERL bei:
N = 47° 50. 487
E = 016° 04. 210
Neben einer gemütlichen Bank mit Tisch findet man hier einen rätselhaften Schacht von ca. 2 m Durchmesser und ursprünglich 7m Tiefe, dessen Herkunft und Bedeutung bis heute nicht geklärt werden konnte.
Leider gibt es derzeit kein Steigbuch, immerhin ist aber ein Behältnis dafür vorhanden.
+ Nimm die Anzahl der ovalen, beweglichen Kettenglieder die den Deckel halten für "A".
+ Die Summe aller Ziffern auf der Marmortafel verwende für "B"
+ Die Anzahl der Buchstaben des 2. Wortes auf der Tafel ergibt "C".
+ Folge nun dem Steig weiter bis zur ersten Leiter - nimm die Anzahl der Sprossen für "D"(und vergiss die unterste nicht!).
Die Berechnung für den Cache kann man weiter oben bei einer Bank machen.
CACHE:
N = 47° 50. 000 + (A*B + A*D - C*D - A) / 1000
E = 016° 04. 000 + (B*D - 2*B - C) / 1000
Zum Abstieg bietet sich der Leiterlsteig (gelbe Markierung, Kategorie A) an.

The "Hanselsteig" is a frequently used ascent and offers two highlights: the "Karnitschstüberl" and the "Hanselkamin" with an inclined ladder(link).
You will find a PARKING LOT at
N = 47° 50. 218
E = 016° 04. 524
From there follow the narrow, red marked path up to the rockwalls and climb up a short ramp to enter the
KARNITSCHSTÜBERL at
N = 47° 50. 487
E = 016° 04. 210 - a plateau below a mighty overhang.
Beside of a comfortable bench and a table you will find a mysterious shaft of unknown purpose and origin, 2m in diameter and originally 7m deep.
A pity the route-book ist currently missing, but anyway there is a green box to house it.
+ Count the oval, loose chain-links fixing its lid and take the value for"A".
+ Sum up all digits on the marmor-plate to gain "B"
+ Count the letters of the 2nd word on the same plate - the number is"C"
+ Now go on and ascend until you reach the first ladder, count it's rungs and take the result for "D"(don't forget the belowest one!).
You can calculate the cache quite comfortable on a bench near the upper end.

E = 016° 04. 000 + (B*D - 2*B - C) / 1000
For the descent the "Leiterlsteig" can be useful (yellow marks, category A).
