Geocache Description:

Follow the trail to a cache filled with technology you can’t bare trash.

Update: The most recent successful log was an approach from Beeson Drive to avoid private property at Highridge road. If you have other advice Please let me know so I can update the instructions.

Big thanks to Erik for the maintenance to the cache. Thanks!!!

Original Description at Launch with some (notes): The Old Lunchbox is one of two caches placed on a trail I came across while exploring the canyons. It is an old rusty Thermos lunchbox placed as a trading post for your electronics and media that you no longer need. All of the original contents are in working condition, so please brings items that still work but you no longer have a use for. Please post the trades you have made as it will make for a fun list of items that are fading from use as we move to the future.

Original Contents: - Zip Drive, perfect for your CPU - 20A Fuse, used in older homes - Red 90 Min Cassette Tape, with a cool red sliding case - VHS Tape, brush up on your Pool & Billiards with this instructional video - Deluxe Universal AC Adapter, I’m sure I'll loose an important cord now - And a Sony Clie SJ20 Palm Device as a possible reward for a FTF that wants to turn paperless. (Please take all of the items that go with it: Power cord, Disc, and two manuals.) - Log book with pen, sign it please.

Approach from the North – the South has a new development being built and you can’t access the hills from there. It is best to park near: N 34 06.755’ W 118 25.546’ Find the trail and you are well on your way. Please be respectful of the neighbors – the first ten feet of the trail is near a homeowner’s fence.(Now its best to try from Beeson) The Old Lunchbox is about .15 miles ahead, roughly 15 feet off the path in the shade. Please visit The New Lunchbox during your visit. This DVD trading cache is another .2 miles along the trail up the hill. (No longer Active, see GCA2HA0 for redux by Erik) Best of Luck.
