This cache is on Pinel Island, just off the French side of St. Martin. Pinel is a great day trip if you are visting St. Martin. I put the difficulty rating at 3.5 as you have to get to Pinel someway, somehow from St. Martin and the cache is hidden pretty good. Once on Pinel, you have to hike a bit and explore to find the cache site. Great views are waiting at cache - you will see Tintemarre, St. Barths, Green Key, and St. Martin of course. All around the island is a protected marine sanctuary. Lots of fish, hard and soft coral, plus other marine life can be found. If you get hungry or thirsty, there are three beach bars on Pinel. Good luck and have fun visiting a great place while you are visiting St. Martin. Cache is only available during the day until 5:00pm, unless you have your own boat/floatation device. Please make sure you put the cache back where you found it for others to find it after you. I don't think there could be mugglers around, but be careful of other people hiking/sightseeing around when you are at the cache site.

Small note on cache maintenance: I have another geocacher (tinkertoad) to maintain my cache when he on St. Martin. He has a cache already set up called "Sunset Cache - GC103H2. He will oversee it as well as his friends who oversee his cache when he is not here. I will maintain this cache whenever I am to St. Martin (at least 3 times/year), plus I have friends/family who will maintain it as well when they are here.
