Borghamn är en hamnort som ligger vid norra foten av Omberg. Vid hamnen ligger bl.a. ett STF vandrarhem. I Borghamn har det brutits sten sedan början av medeltiden. Flera av de historiska stenbyggnaderna som finns i kommunen har byggts med sten från Borghamn. Även vid anläggningen av Göta kanal hämtades sten härifrån. På 1800-talet när Karlsborgs fästning byggdes, hämtades sten från Borghamns stenbrott. Än idag är stenbrytningen en stor industri på orten med två aktiva stenbrott.

Wettern är en serie med cachar som finns i hamnar och andra sjönära platser kring Vättern. I varje cache, för närvarande 14 st, finns en pusselbit för bonuscache Wettern Mystery, skriv ner den! Ha en trevlig tur och upptäck Vätterns kustremsa.


ENG
Borghamn is a small village at the bottom of mountain Omberg. They have been quarrying in the area of Borhamn, since the middle ages. Most of the historical buildings in the area have been build of stone from Borghamn.

Wettern is a series of 14 caches, which will bring you to harbours and other places close to the lake Vättern. In every cache you can find a piece of the Puzzle that will give you a bonus cache - Wettern Mystery. Remember to write the clue down. Have a nice trip and discover the "coastal strip" of Vättern.
