Maple Falls Cemetery, comprised of about 3 acres, is located just off the Mount Baker highway in a quiet wooded area. The cemetery was dedicated in 1925, and is now under the jurisdiction of Whatcom County Cemetery district 3.
Upon establishment of this location, a number of existing graves were relocated from the Old Maple Falls Cemetery, leaving only seven identifiable graves at the former location (now private property) along nearby Cemetery Road. The cache is a pint-sized plastic container placed at the edge of the parking area. Please park with care, be respectful, and cache in, trash out. No need to dig or disturb any of the cemetery grounds. The cemetery is closed from sunset to sunrise.
