Geocache Description:

Sited high on Hawks Tor, the terrain is rough, in fact terribly rough, its very rocky with in places large holes in between, so sensible footwear will be required and care taken to make sure you have a good footing as you walk to the cache. As usual when out on the moors, take waterproofs and be prepared for bad weather to approach with little warning. Whilst 2 Spaniels and a Border Collie came with us when we hid the cache the area around the cache site is NOT "Ideal dog walking country"

This is a largeish cache and contains the usual logbook and pens. There is a tupperware box inside the cache holding the logbook and pens, Travelbugs and coins should be placed here also.

You will find a torch to be VERY useful so please bring one. You may manage without but it will be a lil awkward.

We like to think it is well stocked with some nice trading items, so please come prepared to trade on an equal basis.

When hidden the cache contained:

As several people have asked HOW? It really wasn't hard. Three of us carried all the trading items up in a Rucsac each and we took it turns to carry the cache container, whilst someone else carried the lid up. What took the most time was spending the previous weekend looking for a suitable hiding place - in the end we found several possible spots to hide a cache of this size. -=PLEASE=- Rehide the cache, back under the rock it's hidden under, the rock you climb over to get into the "cave".
