Located along the rocky shoreline of Narraguagus Bay at McLellan Park in Milbridge. This is a beautiful pubilc park, picnic, and camping area. Very short and well-worn trails from the parking area to the rocky shore. You are looking for an ammo can. This should be an easy find for experienced cachers. PLEASE note how the cache is hidden and take the time to put things back so that it looks "natural."
McLellan Park is a spectacular town-owned and maintained camping/picnic/day hike area that is open to the public with no fees charged. The gate is closed in the winter but it is only .2 mile from the gate to the parking area. In Milbridge go south down Wyman Road to the entrance to the park. As you travel into the park turn right at the sign that says Picnic Area/Parking. From the parking area it is a short walk to the cache. There is ample parking, rest rooms, picnic tables and gorgeous views of the ocean. If you want to camp here just stop for a permit at the town office in Milbridge. By all means, bring a picnic lunch or dinner... there is a picnic table approx. 50 feet from the cache. And don't forget, bring your camera! Oh, and as a reminder, I have another cache close by at the town pier in Milbridge.
