Geocache Description:

A pleasant stroll through beautifully landscaped gardens, and a cache with a difference.

There is a large public car park near N 50 52.440 W 000 58.580 which serves the Staunton Country Park complex. Parking is charged at £2, but there is plenty of nearby free parking on the other side of the dual carriageway The gardens themselves lay to the north of the car park and are free to enter. If the main entry gates are closed then pedestrian access is possible at all times through a small metal gate slightly to one side of the main gates. The whole area is liable to be full of Muggles, except after 6pm most evenings. Please use discretion when retrieving the cache and try not to draw attention to yourself. The cache is concealed within a green metal tube about 15” long. The cache itself is a small plastic tube similar to a 35 mm film canister, and it contains only a paper log. In order to retrieve the cache itself, and sign the logbook, you will definitely need all of the following equipment:- An empty jug, cup,or bottle A pen or pencil You do not need to use any force to access the log book and YOU DO NOT NEED TO SMASH OR BREAK ANYTHING! Just use your brain and read the cache page! Some recent cachers have been ramming sticks into the cache and the internal container is simply not designed to withstand this type of force! Please ensure that you firmly reseal the plastic canister when you have finished with the log sheet. Please leave the cache and tube EXACTLY as you found it. Tree cover at the cache site means that you may have to hunt around to find the cache. Decrypting the clue will help you a lot. Please remember that I will delete any Found log which is not supported by a signature written in the cache log sheet
