Geocache Description:

This is a 50 cal ammo can. Should be easy once you are there.

This is not the cabin we were trying for but it will have to do. This cabin is not in very good shape any more. There is evidence of a horse corral or such. If you look around you will see trees growing around the boards that were nailed to them. We did go farther up the trail the cabin is on and met a nice guy in a jeep. He told us that the snow makes the trail impassable to the cabin we were looking for.

This cache is a quick side trip for folks looking to atv all the way to Riordan. The main trail bringing you here and then to Riordan is not the best path to the lookout above Riordan. That path starts on the road to stibnite.

Just like Shindaiwa (GC136M5) this is rugged terrain and is best done by adults or teenaged hikers, or atv or a smaller high clearance vehicle. The road to the cache was here before atvs but there are very few places big enough to turn around if bigger than an atv.

This is a beautiful area but remember, you are traveling in the backcountry. Tell someone where you are going and when you will be back and use your head.

Watch for deer, elk, bear, mountain lion and wolves.

Please hide it well (naturally) so hunters or campers camped here won't stumble upon it.

As with all our caches, you are free to remove any trackable item in the cache without leaving anything. It is more important to us that trackable move according to their owners desire than for us to keep trackables in our cache.
