This cache is based in and around the lovely village of Coleshill on the Wiltshire, Oxfordshire border. The village is almost entirely owned and managed by the National Trust, and includes tea rooms, a village shop, pub and a church.
This cache has been approved by the Buscot & Coleshill National Trust Estates. For more information, please go to their website.
This cache has a musical theme to it, which will become clear as you gradually answer the questions. You will realise it is all about one of (if not THE) Greatest British band of all time. It is, in musical terms, a medley, as it contains a number of aspects from other caches I've enjoyed.
In order to do this cache, you will first need to use the internet to answer the following questions and work out the subsequent puzzles. Then, you can visit the village to complete the cache! Once you have found the micro, it will tell you where the final cache is. Follow the track along the river until you reach two gates. Go through them and continue to the cache. Please take care with young children and pets alongside the road and the river, and observe the usual Geocaching guidelines. The river is prone to flooding in the winter months, so be prepared!
When you arrive at Coleshill, be prepared for a walk of approximately 2 miles
Place the answers to the following questions in the appropriate grid positions.

- Coleshill House was built for this son of a wealthy cloth merchant?

Now, convert the following codes using the above grid to give you six ‘scrambled’ famous songs below.
Unscramble them to see the proper titles. (You may need to make use of an anagram decoder from the internet if the brain cells give up!)
Now, find out in which month each of the songs was originally released in the UK. (If it happens to be i.e. October, then drop the one, so it becomes 0). Now, if you can do this without the use of either a book or a computer, I'll be impressed! You should end up with a different, single number for A to F
