This is one of my favorite spots in the North Cascades. Easy to get to in the summer, but can be a very dangerous spot if not careful. Elevation, 5662' with my Etrex Venture.
My family went to eastern Washington to go camping and placed this cache on the way. My son, Joshua, found an excellent spot to hide the cache. The cache is an approved Geocache container that is 4x6x4" that is dark gray with the green Geocache label on top.
Drive Hwy. 20 to Washington Pass and go check out the lookout and the view of Liberty Bell Mountain. while you're there, zero in on the cache with your GPS. This should be an easy find. The exception is that you can only get here when the road through the pass is open, so this really is a summer cache. The pass is closed from about Oct. thru Mar. Enjoy.
