El caché está diseñado para recordarle el día más oscuro de la historia turística de Ibiza. El 7 de enero de 1972, 104 personas murieron en un accidente aéreo. Después de la visita del monumento y un minuto de recogimiento, vale la pena realizar una caminata en el macizo de Sa Talaia y el camino hasta el Coll de sa Creu, una de las montañas más altas de la isla.
