This cache has two purposes..
1. To see the progress of the Gautrain in Sandton
2. To keep those men occupied whilst their wives/gf's go
shopping.
The co-ords above are NOT the final co-ords of the cache.
For those of you guys who are bored, you had better get your
shopping partners and wallets out and let those wives and gf's roam
the shopping center whilst you find the cache. They should get in
about 30 mins of shopping whilst you do the cache (PS: If the males
prefer to shop while the females find the cache, thats also fine by
us).. Let the race begin!
In order to complete this cache you will need to find your way
to the Food Court at Sandton City as the starting point.
Now cryptically decipher the route to the cache as follows
Find the exit closest to a "Crustacean Plant" and head in that
direction.
Then head towards the "Untouched Girl" and past her
Don't let her break your "Heart".
When you reach the answer to Douglas Adams, the "Life, The Universe
and Everything"
Head towards "Jamie Olivers chain of restaurants"
Once here keep walking straight and then follow "Led Zeppelins
Famous Music Piece"
At this point you will see a "Big Sign" (Not the scrolling
one).
Head over to the sign and look down on the LHS
There you will be rewarded with the cache (and during the day a
good view of the Gautrain Building Site)
Please note that if you park at Sandton City the parking may
cost you up to R7 (unless you partners stay for more than an hour -
but by then the parking fee will be minimal compared to the spent
amount)
This cache can probably be done at all hours, but I recommend if
following the instructions no later than 12 midnight and earlier
than 7am..
The cache has been replaced more than 3 times, and I know that
people like to LOG a cache, but until I can find a better location
or a cache that weighs in at 200kg which cannot be moved, I will
accept an attached photograph of the view of the Gautrain Project.
If you upload the photo you can log the cache.. Logs without photos
will be deleted.
