Geocache Description:

Come and see the view over Nottingham and surrounding areas from this local high point.

Sharphill Woods has been proposed as a Local Nature Reserve. The surrounding fields are a blaze of colour in spring / early summer but make a pleasant walk most times of the year.

There are a number of well-used footpaths (not all marked on maps) which are busy at times with dog walkers.

Best approach is via Peverill Drive (which is a road off Willow Road) - on street parking at N 52 54.757 W 001 08.041. Alternatively, you can approach from the bridleway over Wilford Hill.

The box is a lock-and-lock box.
