This challenging cache is a version of New Jersey's popular
Passport To Adventure stamp collecting books which are meant to
encourage visitors to explore some of New Jersey's best State
Parks, Forests, and Historic Sites.
The cache idea has been approved by the NJ Parks and Forestry
Department, and the cache container has volunteer caretakers at the
Hancock House to assist geocachers who finish the challenge.
Passbooks and stickers are available free of charge at the
entrances to the parks and historic sites, but if you proceed past
the entrances there may be some access fees at peak times of the
year. Call ahead to make sure the park you are visiting will be
open.
4 easy steps:
1)Visit any of the state parks or historic sites listed on this
page to get your passbook and first sticker.(coordinates are
provided)
2)Collect stickers at all 12 locations in the southern region and
put them in your passbook.
3)Bring your passbook to the
Hancock House
4)A friendly park service employee will verify your name and all 12
southern region stickers in your passbook and then assist you with
the final cache container to log your find.
Good luck!
