Na Príbramsku, nad obcí Smolotely , na vrcholku zalesneného kopce nazývaného Maková hora, se nachází poutní kostel sv. Jana Krtitele a Panny Marie Karmelské, významné poutní místo a jedna z nejkrásnejších ukázek vrcholne barokní architektury citlive umístené do krajiny.
Místo je prístupné ze Smolotel po cervené turistické znacce nebo po silnici asi 1,5 km.

Tato cache je ze serie kesek, ktere jsou  puvodne zamyslene pro radioamatery, kteri podporuji program SOTA  (Summits On The Air) neboli Vrcholy v eteru. Summit caching je aktivita nezavisla na oficialni casti programu SOTA.
Radioamateri mohou timto ziskat krome bodu za aktivaci vrcholu i odmenu v podobe geocache, samozrejme jsou vitani vsichni geocacheri, kteri radi chodi na kopce a dokazou si vychutnat vyhledy ci pocit pokoreni vrcholu.

Co jsou to radioamateri?


[EN] Makova Hora OK/ST-036) SOTAcache 554m asl.
This cache and other similar caches were originally for Radio Amateurs, who are taking part in the "Summits on the Air" programme. This activity is independent of and not an official part of the SOTA programme.

All the Summits in Czech are catalogued and Radio Hams "activate" them by transmitting from the summits. Radio Hams can now obtain credit for finding them as official Geocaches. In fact all geocachers are very welcome to find them.

As they are hidden on mountain tops they will be of interest to geocachers who are fell walkers.

The cache, which is very basic, consists of a plastic box with a logbook, pen, pencil and some swag.
