Before the white man came to this spot of land, the Native America inhabitants had a name for this place - Tampa. Anyone in Tampa on a warm, sultry summer afternoon has the opportunity to view mother nature calling the city by name. "Tampa! Tampa! Tampa!" she screams over and over - displaying a wonderful and frigtening light show all around us. But when the rains have died down, come and take a stroll along the river and locate man's tribute to Mother Nature & Tampa. And while you are here take a walk down along the stream to the river and enjoy the plants and the oaks. When you come to N27:56.827 W82:27.745, turn to the West and view 3 shinning spires with their tipped up moons and the seven blazing sticks. Spin a little to the South and catch a climpse of an awesome gold dome.
If you are here first thing in the morning it is like magic, if you are here at night - you know it is magic! Enjoy this beautiful spot. And if you must, or you can't make it - click on the pix before for a climpse between sticks of fire. Before you go, if you are hot have a drink at the near by cellar, and if you are curious - then step back into time on the veranda.
