This used to be a beautiful water feature in a lovely park in Melrose. The park is still maintained, but alas the water-works have been turned off for ages, leaving a murky pond at the bottom, where you will see the sole surviving, and large carp on occasion. Close to Olympic House, the head-quarters of SASCOC, and across the freeway is the extension of the bird sanctuary, where we used to Orienteer in years gone by. Please bring along your own writing utensil. Enjoy the hunt.
