The five Climate Chaos caches are:
Professor Dyson, the famous scientist, has been working on a
project to develop carbon-free energy. He is aided in this by a
small but dedicated team of brilliant minds, all working in secret
until the project is finalised. One member of his team is thought
to be Dawn Whicker, the well known new-age visionary.
Rumours are rife in the scientific community as to Dawn's role
in the project. Some say that she is the Professor's muse; that it
is her lack of scientific knowledge which forces him to continually
simplify and clarify his thinking. Others point to the undoubted
wealth of knowledge and understanding she has of all things
mystical, and speculate that Dyson is following Sir Isaac Newton
into experimentation with alchemy and magicks. Still others
suggest, unkindly, that she is just there for decoration. Whatever
her role, she, like the other members of the team, has
disappeared.
Recently, Dawn's sister received the following message on her
answerphone:
"Hello Hope, are you there? This is Dawn. Please pick up. (silence)
I may not be able to call again for a while (silence)
OK I guess you're out. First, I love you and I love all the others.
Please let them know.
I've been working on this project for ages now and it's been
all-consuming, but I've missed you guys.
I've sent you some flash memory with a diagram of the crop circle
research I've been doing: it's important that you make it public
somehow. Just when I thought it was almost over things have gone
bad and I'm having to lie low.
I wanted to tell you, look out for a news story Hope, a really big,
good news story, and know that I'm part of it. I can't tell you
until it comes out coz you wouldn't be safe, and my name won't be
on it - no-one would believe an old hippy like me ! but you'll
recognise my part in it, you know my interests.
The world is going to change for the better Hope, and I'm so proud
to have been a part of it.
Goodbye, and keep well."
