Geocache Description:

DUE TO THE LACK OF INTEREST IN TACKLING THIS CHALLENGE AS A WHOLE AND THE DIFFICULTY OF MAINTENANCE IT WILL NOT BE MAINTAINED AS A SERIES AFTER EASTER 2023. AFTER THIS DATE THE VOWELS AND BONUS ARE LIKELY TO BE REMOVED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE. IF YOU ARE ATTEMPTING THE SERIES AND GETTING CLOSE TO COMPLETION AT THAT TIME LET ME KNOW AND I'LL LEAVE A CACHE IN PLACE FOR YOU BUT ASK THAT YOU TO REMOVE IT WHEN YOU VISIT.

This is Alphabet Challenge K, a Micro container hidden near the old disused mine called Knack Mine.

The Alphabet Challenge consists of 25 caches plus the bonus (Z).

There are 5 individual series consisting of 4 consonants giving information for the vowel in each group.

The order of caches to find,

A needs B,C,D,F

E needs G,H,J,K

I needs L,M,N,P

The Dartmoor 1:25000 OS map shows this to be an Artillery range so vigilance is required but it is possible to get to the cache on old tracks of varying quality.

There is NO mobile signal in parts of Dartmoor, you need to bear this in mind in case of emergencies.

The GPS signal at the cache site should not present a problem.

You will need to take a pencil/pen for the log.
