Geocache Description:

At the top end of Ninety Mile Beach is a large outcrop of volcanic rock. It is a stunning location, flanked by the massive 90m Te Paki sand dunes. Sand Muggles with their SUVs abound especially during holiday weekends.

You can approach the cache location either via 4 wheel drive vehicle along the beach, or from the Te Paki sand dunes. Don't leave without first catching the view from the lookout point at the top of the long wooden staircase. See the photo attached.

The replaced cache is a 250ml plastic screwtop Jarrah coffee jar. When hidden it contained a logbook and pen, a Louisiana geocoin "Bam's New Zealand" courtesy of Team Bamboozle, our excellent caching friends in New Orleans, body moisturiser, shampoo, conditioner and a New Zealand pen.
