Geocache Description:

A three cache multi with micro stages, which should be done in the order published.

Henry's Hunt Part 1, The Mansion House Cache.

The above co-ordinates are for the first micro stage, the start of a three-cache multi which will take you on a tour round part of Henry VIII's, Nonsuch Hunting Park. He built his famous palace right in the middle and you will visit the location later. The trek involves some grassy and bumpy fields as well as paths. It is more or less buggy friendly when dry, but parts can be muddy when wet. Total walk about 2.5 to 3 miles if you do it all in one. MUGGLES ARE A PROBLEM AT WEEKENDS
I suggest you park in the car park at N51° 21.381, W000° 14.357. If you do the lot in one go, you will also finish near here. Note the time the gates close on the notice board in the car park. There are toilets and refreshments at the Mansion House, near to the first cache.
The first micro stage has the co-ordinates of the next stage, plus a bonus cache clue, which you will need at the end. This pattern continues throughout. Lots of people use the park, so I have tried to place the stages where muggles won't be too much of a problem. I hope I have made it family friendly, and little ones should be able to reach the micros, and caches by themselves. As you go round, it may help to know that I am fond of trees. Also be aware that the GPS signal can be quite variable in the park. Living close, I use the park a lot and co-ords. are never the same two days running, On a bad day, allow 30 feet each way, I don't know why. As a guide, all averaged out at about 19 feet, or better. Some micros might be three star, given the GPS errors, they are well hidden, I think!
Henry was fond of hunting and when he decided to descend on Nonsuch to build his palace, he cleared the village of Cuddington and it's church, to make space. Unfortunately, nothing remains above ground, except for the foundations of the Banqueting House, where Henry entertained his guests while they watched him hunting. Although it is now surrounded by trees, it is on a high point, and the view must have been worth seeing. It is through the gap from cache 2.
Part 2, the Banqueting House Cache has a clue for the next micro which has the clue for the Bonus Cache, and will take you to the Palace site (see obelisks). The Bonus Cache will be very easy, if you remembered to note the earlier clues. If you didn't you have a bit of a walk to do. When going from the first cache to the next location, walk via N51 21.611 W000 13.443, where a view of Wembly Arch and the Gherkin can be had when the weather is clear. You may need a small pair of binos, to pick out the Gherkin.
